About us

          Enthusiasm, strength and desire for advancement in every sense, has brought  two people from Sombor, Danica and Sava Kronić  to build a beautiful building in the middle of the Vojvodina plains. Villa Kronić! Facility at all as it came from ancient times, yet modern enough to be fully fit in the corresponding year of two thousand, a year at the very beginning of  the 21st century.

          Villa Kronić becomes a real visual way of decoration of the road to Čonoplja (a village near Sombor), for all who will go that way sooner or later. With the idea to combine the need for sport and hospitality industry, but in a specific Vojvodina’s  way. As part of the building  there are  two old renovated farms, which both resemble the old days in the construction and all other respects, a very Vila, finished  in 2000, is a magnificent way to complete the entire neighborhood. Surrounded by a green valley, in the true sense of the word, with four football fields  and a park, lake and canal, which is separated from the rest of the vast Pannonian  Plain.   3 km away from the city center of Sombor but still an integral part of the city, and yet far enough away that the morning at the Villa exudes calm fields of Vojvodina, sounds and smells of clean and unspoiled nature. Alternation of the seasons is what draws recognizable space in a story we see in postcards.

          Accommodation capacity is 56 beds located in 22 rooms at the Villa. Sufficient  to the excursion, as well as for individual tourism. From organized groups, and individual visits, for all there is enough room. Restaurant can accommodate about a hundred guests, but with the included  terraces and booths in the park and over 250. Villa’s Specialties of local cuisine are pepper, barbecue or meat dishes, vegetables, fish are sure to satisfy everyone's  need for gourmet.

          Symbolically, the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Villas, the facility takes the  son of Sava and Danica, Milos Kronić and enters into the story of the introduction of new, fresh content in the area of ​​the Villa. The plan for the future is the construction of tennis courts, horseback riding, boarding and training center for dogs, new species of fish in the lake, mini zoo (farm animals) and who knows ...

         Courts, locker rooms, gym and tennis club as are available to all who love sports and recreation. In the gym, some metaphorically called Villas Gym, there is everything you need to apart yourself from the stress of everyday life of modern times, and then, in the same place, regain  the energy with the specialties of the restaurant.

          Organised visits to hunters, fishermen, photographers, artist colonies are just one of the real indicators that the Villa Kronić is an absolute part of nature that surrounds it and that is almost a perfect fit.

          Do you plan to sleep and grub as you are passing through, whether you're visiting someone or you just went on an excursion, if you come to Sombor, definitely do not go out of it without visiting us.

PS  We shall take a joke, an integral part of our culture as one more sign of welcome to all of you:

Two old friends from, Sombor, the organizers of the 20th anniversary of graduation, are discussing where they should go this time.

Says one: " We should go on Villa Kronić, there we were for our 10th anniversary, remember that there were lots of nice and beautiful women. " And of course, immediately agreed to go there!

With the organization 30 years after graduation they meet again.  An without suggesting a new place, they have agreed once again to go on Villa Kronić because the previous party had  some great food.

After 10 years, they talk again:

One of them says: "We want to go again on Villa Kronić, I remember sitting next to a fine toilet last time?" And of course, they’ve agreed again.

Organization for 50 years from graduation, sat our two Sombor guys in a nursing home, again wondering  where to organize the celebration this time, and one, after a long reflection, he says: "Let's hang on Villa Kronić , we were never there!" :)
